The finish line of our first journey — “Faithful to the Finish” — felt like a closing door. But if you’ve walked with God long enough, you know that He never closes one door without opening another. Philippians 1:6 promised us that He who began a good work will carry it on to completion. And He has. But completion in God’s economy is never the end — it’s a launchpad.
These verses from Lamentations are some of the most treasured in all Scripture. Jeremiah wrote them in a season of immense personal and national grief. The city of Jerusalem lay in ruins.
