## Reflection
David’s prayer is the prayer of everyone who longs for transformation. He does not ask God to improve his old heart — he asks for a new one. The word “create” is the same Hebrew word used in Genesis for God’s original creation. David is asking for a fresh act of divine creativity. That is what renewal looks like.
