Lord Jesus,
Thank You that before I knew You, You had a purpose for my life — not a task to accomplish, but a likeness to grow into. I confess that I often lose sight of this goal. I get distracted by circumstances and discouraged by my failures.
Today I fix my eyes on You. Keep shaping me, keep transforming me, until I reflect You more clearly. I trust that every joy, every trial, and every ordinary moment is part of Your plan to make me more like You.
