Ephesians 3:16-19
“…that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge…”
Paul prays that we would be rooted and grounded in love — not a shallow affection but the deep, unshakable love of Christ. This love is wide enough to cover every failure, long enough to last through eternity, high enough to lift us from despair, and deep enough to reach us in our lowest moments.
