“If you love me, keep my commandments.”
Jesus links love and obedience inseparably. Obedience is not a burden we carry to earn God’s favour — it’s the natural expression of love. When we truly love someone, doing what pleases them becomes a joy, not a duty. Obedience flows from relationship, not obligation.
