A Prayer for Obedience from Love
Lord Jesus, I want to obey You — not out of fear or obligation, but because I love You. Change my heart so that Your commandments no longer feel like restrictions, but invitations to draw closer to You.
Show me where I have made obedience complicated. Simplify it. Help me to see that every command is a doorway to deeper relationship with You. When I struggle to obey, remind me of Your love. When I am tempted to go my own way, draw me back with kindness.
Let my life be a joyful response to Your love — not perfect, but sincere. I love You, Lord. Help me to show it.
