John 14:23 (WEB) — “Jesus answered him, ‘If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.'”
Obedience is not about earning God’s love. It is the natural response to receiving it. When you love Jesus, keeping His word becomes a joy, not a burden. And the promise is staggering: the Father and Son make their home with you. Your life becomes a dwelling place for God. That is what obedience leads to.
